It's been awhile since my last post, so much work, so much tennis, so many beautiful faces, so little time! I've had the pleasure of taking pictures of quite a few beauties lately, that I just cannot keep up! Aren't these to most BEAUTIFUL children ever? I just love them, it took a little warming up, but their mom is so lucky to have them, & they're happy to have their momma.
This next gorgeous girl is one of my bestfriends, I love spending time with her. I took pictures of her in January, & I loved them, so we took more.

The Other Side of the Lens
I finally received the CD that's full of my family pictures by my personal favorite photog, Collyn Ware.
This woman can out do Wonder woman any day of the week, & twice on Sunday. Collyn teaches English at my high school (so I guess I should be referring to her as Mrs.Ware, right?) & as I already said, she's a photographer, she's also a mother & a wife. Without this woman, I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am today. I mean, she taught me everything from sharpening, to lighting, to how to interact with your consumer. She's amazing at everything she does, her photographs are absolutely amazing, her daughter is just adorable, and she runs her household like a pro. Mrs. Ware, this ones to you, thanks for everything you do!
Back to the photos! We had winter family pictures taken because, well, I wanted them done. So I lassoed in the fam & made sure they were wearing matching socks and we headed out into the chilly winter weather for some pictures. I read all of these photographer's blogs where they talk about hating to get their own picture taken. I adore it. I find it so much fun, just knowing you're the focus of a picture are people are going to be ooo-ing & aww-ing over you? Invigorating. So I thought I'd share a few, all courtesy of Collyn Ware Photography.

A Day In The Life
It's been an interesting week in the life of a 16 year old photographer/waiter/student/driver. I've had multiple session this past week thanks to snow & ice here in SE Iowa, causing school cancellation/delays. & in the midst of this weather, I managed to hit a tree. Hysterical? Oh, I know. But what makes this story even better is that it occurred during a photoshoot. Oh joy! Wreck my car, check.
These pictures aren't from that particular session, but this girl is just gorgeous, whether she belives it or not! This girl is Kari, & even though it was freezing out and we didn't take many pictures, at all actually, these are 3 out of the 4 pictures that turned out.

Model Collection
Is it Friday yet? No? Just checking. I've been so busy lately between work and school that I squeezed time into my schedule to take some photos of some models I've round up. It's been a blast to get the opportunity to take photos of the ladies who're lovely inside & out. The first set of pictures are two girls from Ottumwa who volunteered for some pictures. We trekked around the Ottumwa area for some great spots (which I don't get the opportunity to do alot). & don't worry reader, I have Jessie & Caroline lined up for so many more pictures. :)
These next few pictures are of my friend Emma, this girl did awesome. I'd tell her to go stand somewhere and tell her the feel I wanted for the picture & she did the rest. I could take pictures of her all day. Everyday.
